Juan Vasquez

Juan S. Vasquez, 82 of Pecos went to be with our Lord on July 23, 2017 at Reeves County Hospital in Pecos, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday July 27, 2017 from 9:00 am to 9:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Rosary will be held on Thursday July 27, 2017 at 7:30 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass will be held on Friday July 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Alcuino Officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.
Juan was born on June 24, 1935 in Cerro Alto Chihuahua Mexico, to Sebastian G. Vasquez and Maria Florez Sotelo.
He married Socorro Herrera on February 13, 1960. He was a retired Reeves County Employee that worked for the Road and Bridge and RCCC. He was a Catholic and a member of Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church.
Juan is preceded in death by his daughter Hilda Maria Vasquez, his parents, sister Cruz Parraz, Paula V. Chavez and Aurora V. Garcia and brothers Sebastian Vasquez and Jesus Vasquez.
Juan is survived by his wife of 57 years Socorro H. Vasquez; Daughter Armida H Vasquez of Pecos and Two Sons; Juan Vasquez Jr. and wife Christina Vasquez of Pecos, Tx and Manuel Vasquez of Hong Kung. His pride and Joy his grandchildren Cody and Justin Johnson, John and Isabella Vasquez. His great grandchildren his little ones Adilyne Acosta and Mason Johnson. Three that he called his own Junior Lawerence Williams, Lori William Mathis and Amy Marie Myers. His is also survived by a brother Jose Paz Vasquez of Carlsbad, NM.\and a Sister Alicia Bejarano of Carlsbad, NM
Numerous Nephews and Nieces.
Pallbearers will be Cody Johnson, John Vasquez, Justin Johnson Guadalupe Herrera Jr. Alivan Chavez and Arturo Chavez.
Services are entrusted to Pecos Funeral Home.
