Jose V. Soto 63 of Pecos, Texas passed away on May 25, 2017 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas
Jose was born on March 30, 1954 in Ojinaga Chih, Mexico to Jesus Garcia Soto and Maria Villanueva Soto.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 30, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Rosary will be held on Tuesday May 30, 2017 at 7:30 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass will be held on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church with Fr. De La Cruz Officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
He went to school in Pecos Tx. He married Erma Campos on April 18,1977 in Pecos Tx. He worked as a roustabout for Pecos oilfield & construction for 27 years. He had a passion for playing cards, restore/fixing up vehicles, welding, and fabricating custom BBQ pits Lending a hand to whomever need it.
Jose is preceded in death by his father Jesus G Soto and Brother Raymond Soto.
Jose is survived by his wife Erma C Soto, Son Jaime Soto, Daughters Delia Soto and JoAnn Soto. Sister Margaret Franco, Sister Lydia Salgado, Brother Gilbert Soto, Sister Lucy Soto, Brother Jesse Soto, Brother Antonio Soto. Mother Maria Soto. Grandsons Julian Joe Soto and Adam Fuentes Jr, Granddaughters Alyssa, Jacklynn and Jayde Fuentes,
Pallbearers will be George Campos Jr, Daniel Soto, Carlos Campos, Alex Martinez, Jesse Soto Jr, Jeremiah Soto, Antonio Soto Jr, Jesus Salgado Jr.
The family of Jose wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the physicians at MCH Procare heart institute, Dr. James Li and the amazing ICU nurses at Medical Center Hospital.
