Jonathan Eli Rodriguez

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Jonathan Eli Rodriguez, aged 19, of Pecos, Texas, who departed this life on March 22, 2026, in Ward County.

Born on July 23, 2006, in Odessa, Texas, to Betsy Lopez, Jonathan’s life, though brief, was marked by dedication and warmth.

Jonathan attended school in Pecos and proudly graduated from Pecos High School. He devoted himself to his work as a mechanic at Love’s, where his skill and diligence were well regarded by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by Estephen Lopez Sr. and Robert Rodriguez Sr., whose memories he cherished deeply.

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Betsy Lopez; his brother, Raymond; his wife, Arianna Rodriguez; his grandmothers, Elizabeth Lopez and Guadalupe Rodriguez; his father, Robert Rodriguez; his uncles and aunts, Steven and Amy Lopez, and Carl and Christene Payan; his aunt's, Christina Mendoza; Yuli Rodriguez and Karime Sauceda; his great-uncle, Tommy Rey; as well as numerous cousins.

A Rosary will be recited in his honor on March 26, 2026 at 7:00pm at Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Santa Rosa Catholic Church, followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Daniel Levario, Daniel Levario Jr., Christopher Edmon, Rocky Matta, Alex Mendoza, Joe Manuel Vega, David Sanchez, and Angel Trejo.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pecos Funeral Home.

Jonathan’s memory will be cherished forever by those whose lives he touched, and his spirit will remain a guiding light to all who loved him.
