Johnny Gochicoa

Johnny Levario Gochicoa, 76, of Odessa, Texas (Formally of Pecos, Texas) passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born November 6,1945, in Pecos, Texas to Alberto Gochicoa and Altagracia Levario Gochicoa. He was retired and had worked for Compressor System Inc. for over 35 years. Johnny was a Catholic.

Johnny is receded in death by his parents Alberto and Altagracia Levario Gochicoa, brothers Jesus “Chuchi” Gochicoa, Jose Gochicoa, and Alberto “Chino” Gochicoa.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 26 years, Irma Sotelo Gochicoa, daughters Margaret G. Smith and husband Mike Smith, granddaughter Gabby Smith of Odessa, Tx, Sharon Sotelo Bitolas of Odessa, Tx. Sons Engene Gochicoa of San Diego California, Raul Sotelo Bitolas and wife Kelli Cortez Bitolas and two grandsons Raul Manuel Bitolas and Cruz Candalario Bitolas of Odessa, Tx. Six sisters Nati Gochicoa of Midland, Tx., Mary and Roy Pena of Pecos, Tx, Ramona and Ernesto Galindo of Odessa, Tx., Juanita G. Trevino of Arlington, Tx, Virginia Natividad of Pecos, Tx, Carmen Palomino and Edwardo of Pecos, Tx., three brothers Gilbert Gochicoa and Theresa of Pecos, Tx., Willie Gochicoa of Pecos, Tx., Peter Gochicoa of Arlington, Tx.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, from 1 pm to 9 pm, with Rosary at 7 pm at Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 2 pm at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church.
