Jean Hargrove

Jean Hargrove, 88, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in Seymour.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 24. 2016 at 4:00 PM at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, Texas with Rev Ron Garcia Officiating.
Mrs. Hargrove was a Charter Member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pecos Texas.

Jean was born May 13, 1928 in Breckenridge to Issac Elmer and Iva Myrtle Earp Peters. She married Bill Hargrove on February 7, 1947 in Seminole. She was the office manager at Montgomery Wards in Pecos for over 30 years. She was also the owner and operator of the Four Seasons Floral Shop in Pecos for many years. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; a son, Ronnie Hargrove; a brother, Alton Pursley and a sister, Wanda Sue Rabb.

She is survived by her son, William (Butch) Hargrove of Austin; 2 grandsons, Brad Hargrove of Joshua TX and Rontoo Hargrove of Breckinridge; a great grandson, Elis Hargrove; 2 sisters, Iva Jo Stephens of Ennis Texas and Kathryn Adams of Westminster, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are under the direction of Pecos Funeral Home.
