James Greenwood

James Robert Greenwood, 75 of Pecos, Texas died peacefully at his home on Sunday August 16, 2015.
James was born on February 23, 1940 in El Paso, Texas to Young Pinkney Greenwood and Dorothy Greenwood both of whom preceded him in death.
Jim is survived by his wife Judith Greenwood of Pecos; four sons Richard and Lisa Greenwood of Fort Wayne, Indiana, John and Jaclyn Greenwood of Richland Springs, Texas, Daniel and Kathleen Greenwood of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Ryan and Deann Gloria Greenwood of San Antonio, Texas. Jim is also survived by four step-children; Marcy Hunt of Lamesa, Texas, Robert Hunt of San Antonio, Texas, Lynn Jenkins of Edmond, Oklahoma and David Scott and Misty Colmery of Abilene, Texas and a granddaughter from Big Springs Amber Compton who was like a daughter to Jim. Jim is also survived by twenty grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service for Jim at West Park Baptist Church in Pecos and at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery, in San Antonio, Texas at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pecos Funeral Home.
