Jaime R. Melendez

Jaime Rodriguez Melendez 65, passed away on October 9th in Houston Tx. 

He was born in Ojinaga Mexico to Graciela and Francisco Melendez on March 19, 1960. He married the love of his life Rosa Valles Melendez in 1982, they spent 43 wonderful years together.

Jaime is preceded in death by his parents Francisco Pando Melendez and Graciela Rodriguez Melendez.

Jaime is survived by his wife Rosa Valles Melendez, 2 daughters, Joanna Lozano (Jeremiah) and Ruby Chavez (Fernando) 2 sons, Jaime Melendez Jr. (Lizzy) and Abel Melendez (Presley) sisters Nora Medina and Arcelia Melendez, brothers Osvaldo Melendez and Mario Melendez, and 12 grandchildren, 3 nephews he loved like his own Rogelio Ramos, Uriel Gardea, and Antonio Gardea. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Pallbearers will be Jaime Melendez Jr., Abel Melendez, Joanna Lozano and Jeremiah Lozano, Ruby Chavez and Fernando Chavez, Rogelio Ramos, and Osvaldo Melendez.

Visitaition will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be Recited at 7:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 10:00 am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Pecos. 

Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery.
