Helen Fobbs, age 66, of Pecos passed away on February 14, 2026 in Round Rock Texas.
Visitation will be 4 PM to 9 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Pecos funeral home.
Helen was born in El Paso Texas to Joe and Mary Lou Corson on September 6, 1959. Helen was part of the rainbow girls and Girl Scouts and also joined ROTC. She attended and graduated from Andress high school. Helen worked for Freeport Sulfer/Penzoil for many years until she received a severance package and intended and graduated from UTPB with a bachelors of business administration. Helen became the accounts payable for UTBP where she worked for 14 years. Helen had many adventures in her life and always enjoyed friends and family but she loved her girls most of all . Helen really enjoyed crocheting. She would make gifts for friends and family, won awards and began donating her pieces.
Helen was preceded in death by her mother - Mary Lou Corson, sister - Sharon Kopecky, and stepson - Kendrick Fobbs
Helen is survived by daughters Jamie Roddy (Robert Roddy, spouse ) and Jennifer Fobbs. Sister - Sandra Overcash (Billy Overcash, spouse) . Father - Joseph Corson.Stepsons - Nathanial Fobbs and Christopher Fobbs, grandchildren Helen Jones(DeVonte Jones Spouse), Alexis Roddy, Arethea Roddy, Leona Roddy, Elijah Cochran, Isaiah Moore, Kanan Fobbs, and great grandchild Brielle Jones. Nieces Daniela Kopecky and Patsy Duffy. Nephews Robert Overcash and Billy Ray Overcash.
Pallbearers will be Elijah, Isaiah, Robert, Billy Ray, Chris.Memorials may be given to Helen‘s daughters.
The family of Helen wishes to extend their sincere thanks to everyone attending near and far. Special things to Georgetown nursing and transitional care specifically named by Helen was Tyler, Lorena, Amanda and Gail. Special thanks to Dorothy Chavez for being a wonderful friend to Helen through her entire adult life.
