Hector Jurado

Hector E. Jurado, 77, of Pecos was called home to be with our heavenly father on March 29, 2019 at Reeves County Hospital.
Hector was born in Barstow, Texas to the late Amador and Concepcion Jurado on February 16, 1942, He married the love of his life, The Late, Adelaida O. Jurado on April 17, 1964. He was a production foreman for Pennzoil Sulfur for 24 years. He was also a correctional officer at RCDC for 14 years, a US Army Veteran, and was retired. Mr. Jurado was also a Catholic.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 31 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Monday, April 1 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be said at 7:30 pm on Monday evening. Mass will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with burial at Greenwood Cemetery.
Hector was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Adelaida O. Jurado, his parents, the late Amador and Concepcion Jurado, and granddaughter Annabelle C. Ramirez.
Hector is survived by daughters, Socorro Ramirez and husband Tony of Barstow, Josie Nunez and husband Joe Ray of Pecos, Rebecca Villarreal and husband Danny of Pecos, Elizabeth Rayos and husband Carlos of Pecos, Jessica Jurado of Pecos; and sons Hector Jurado Jr of Pecos, Jaime Jurado and wife Karime of Pecos; sisters Norma Rodriguez, Rosa Hinojosa, Elsa Jurado and Irma Lara, all of Odessa; and a brother Amador Jurado, Jr of Odessa. Seventeen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survived.
Pallbearers will be Mr. Jurado's grandsons.
Funeral services are under the direction of Pecos Funeral Home.
