Guadalupe (Lupe) Lara Rayos, 84, of Pecos Texas, passed away on January 21, 2017 in League City Texas.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Thursday Jan 26, 2017 at Pecos Funeral Home. Rosary will be held on Thursday Jan 26, 2017 at 7:30 pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Friday Jan 27 at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church with Ft. De La Cruz, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.

Guadalupe was born in Pecos Texas to Valentine & Dienysia Rayos on December 11, 1932. He married Reinalda Martinez on June 7, 1958 in Pecos Texas. He was a hard worker, loving husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by his wife Reinalda Rayos and his granddaughter Emerald Rayos.

Guadalupe is survived by his 4 sons and their wives - Guadalupe and Rita Rayos, Elonsio and Hope Rayos, Jesus and Marie Rayos, Robert and Maria Rayos ; 8 grandchildren - Javier Rayos, Cindy Rayos, Elonsio Rayos Jr, Elizabeth Martinez, Skyler Rayos, Xavier Rayos, Marisa Garza, Robert Lee Rayos; and 5 great grandchildren - Isaiah Rayos, Abel Martinez, Xavier Martinez, Hailey Rayos, and Emma Rayos; and numerous siblings.

Pallbearers will be Elonsio Rayos Jr, Xavier Rayos, Roy Guerra, Eric Garza, Sam Lujan,
Robert Martinez, and Robert Lee Rayos.

The Rayos family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the following for their love and
