Gloria Galindo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Gloria was married to her beloved husband, David Galindo. She was a loving mother to Danny Galindo and his wife, Marisol Galindo; Daniela Keeler and her husband, Bobby Keeler; and Dalia Galindo. She was a proud grandmother to Alexander Galindo and Aracely Galindo, who brought great joy to her life.
Gloria is also survived by her siblings, Orlando Lara, Eva Castro, Adelina Lara,Nancy Legarda, Dora Ochoa, Gabriel Lara, Alejandro F. Lara, along with 12 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel C. Lara and Noise (Noy) F. Lara, and her brother, Alejandro Lara
Gloria was known for being funny, caring, and a little bit spicy. She had a personality that could light up a room, and she never needed to be anything other than herself. Above all, Gloria loved being surrounded by her family. The time spent together, the laughter, the stories, and the simple moments with the people she loved were some of her greatest joys.
Though her passing leaves a deep emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, Gloria's laughter, her spirit, and the memories she created with her family will live on forever.

Visitation for Gloria will be held on Monday, August 31 2026 from 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Gloria on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 10:00 am at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church in Pecos.
Burial will follow at Lara Cemetery, Pecos, Texas
