Eva V Muniz passed away on August 12, 2018 at Reeves County Hospital
Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 15, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday August 16, 2018 from 9:00 am to 9:00 PM.
Rosary will be held on Thursday August 16, 2018 at 7:30 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass will be held on Friday August 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church with Fr. De La Cruz Officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery
Eva V. Muniz was born in San Antonio del Bravo Mexico to Secundino Venegas Aguirre Sr.and Concepcion Lozano de Venegas on March 15, 1943. She went to school in San Antonio del Bravo Mexico. She married Oscar L. Muniz Sr. on January 27, 1973 in Ojinaga Mexico. She was an Avon Representative for 30+ years. She was a devout Catholic, a Eucharist Minister, a Guadalupana and a Cursillista.
She is preceded in death by her parents Secundino Venegas Sr. and Concepcion Venegas; her siblings Germana V. Acosta, Socorro V.Estrella, Secundino Venegas Jr., Eliseo Venegas and Oscar Venegas; one grandchild Oscar Muniz III.
She is survived by her spouse Oscar L. Muniz Sr.; five children Oscar/Yvonne Muniz, LeeRoy/Jessica Muniz, Conchita/Jorge Hernandez, Mirella/Lorenzo Antonio Jr. Ybarra and Crystal/Mario Molina Jr.; one brother Octavio Venegas and one sister Maria de Jesus V Ornelas; 21 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Oscar Muniz Jr., LeeRoy Muniz, Daniel Hernandez, Lorenzo Antonio III, Oscar Muniz IV and Mirella Ybarra.
The family of Oscar L. Muniz Sr. wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Pecos Valley Rural Health Clinic, Reeves County Hospital, American Home Health and Santa Rosa De Lima Church.
Services are under the direction of Pecos Funeral Home.
