Esmeralda “Mimi” Aldaco, 25, of Pecos, Texas, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in Pecos, Texas.
Esmeralda “Mimi” Aldaco was born in Pecos, Texas, on October 26, 1999. Mimi was the daughter of Ruben Montaño and Monette Baeza, alongside her biological mother, Margarita Armendariz. She was baptized in the Catholic Church by her aunt, Alma Romo. She graduated from Pecos High School in May of 2017. She later went on to marry Jesus M. Aldaco on June 3, 2022. Together, they had three beautiful children: AvaRae, Amelia “Bebe,” and Mateo Lee Aldaco.
Mimi was a stay-at-home mom. She devoted her life to her family. She enjoyed traveling—Mimi would book a flight any time of day and get up and go. Her second home was Disney World, and she made it a tradition to take her family there every year. There wasn’t a time of day you couldn’t count on Mimi. She enjoyed her love for clothes and makeup, had a huge collection of shoes, and never forgot her sunglasses. Mimi loved being cooked for and would not turn down a dinner date to Hook & Reel. Mimi had numerous siblings and had so much love to give. To those she loved, she expressed it proudly. Most importantly, she loved her nieces and nephews.
Esmeralda “Mimi” Aldaco is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ciro and Rita Montaño.
Pallbearers for Esmeralda “Mimi” Aldaco will be Jesus M. Aldaco, Zaiden R. Jimenez, JohnPaul Montaño, Carlos Montaño, Nathan Franco, Anthony Rodriguez, Hunter A. Cobb, and Dillon M. Garcia.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Pecos Funeral Home, with a Rosary from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral Mass for Esmeralda "Mimi" Aldaco will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church. Burial for Mimi will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Pecos, Texas.
The immediate family of Mimi wishes to extend their sincere thanks to everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time. She will be tremendously missed.
