Edward R. Silex

Edward Gomez-Silex, 60, of Balmorhea, Texas, was born on February 17, 1966 in Pecos, Texas. 

Our beloved Eddie was preceded in death by his Mother, Manuela (Nellie) Gomez of Pecos, Texas, and grandparents: Tomas and Alvesa Gomez of Balmorhea, Texas. 

He is survived by his only daughter, Stefani (Ansly) Silex of Washington .

Eddie was a man of great faith, always willing to lend a helping hand, or an ear to listen, no matter of the circumstance. His wit & humor brightened our days, and his unwavering love made each challenge seem surmountable. Eddie, loved to fish & hike, whenever he could. He loved adventures, taking long drives & exploring new places. Eddie's pride was his daughter, Stefani, he wanted to make her proud & reunite with her. 

Services will be held; on March 13,2026 at 10:00 am, at Christ The King Catholic Church, in Balmorhea, and buried with his Mother and grandparents at the Balmorhea cemetery following the service. 

In lieu of flowers, Please make a donation/mass, in honor of Eddie to Christ the King Catholic Church in Balmorhea. Thank you
