Deloras Jo Wilkerson, 89, of Pecos, Texas passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, in Pecos, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.

Jo Wilkerson was born in Brown County to Isaac Duke & Delta Beatrice Madison on April 30, 1937. Jo Married William Dewain Wilkerson in 1956 in Brownwood, Texas. She graduated from business college and worked as a housewife for the majority of her life. Jo Worked periodically as a salesperson for Montgomery Wards and as a bookkeeper for Charles Weinacht, she also worked as a bookkeeper for J&J Feedlot.

Jo is preceded in death by her husband Dewain Wilkerson, and all of her brothers and sisters Fodi, Von Dale, Mavis, Lorraine, Buster, Dean, and Darryl.

Jo is survived by her son Larry and wife Alice residing in Caldwell, Texas and daughter Tammy and husband Richard residing in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She had 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
