Bruce Horton

Bruce Allen Horton, 58 of Pecos, Texas departed from this life November 4th, 2013. Bruce was born in Pecos, Texas to Anthony and Marjorie Horton Jr., January 10th, 1955. He attended Pecos High School were he played football and ran track. He married Jacqueline E. Hill July 25th, 1999 in Pecos. He graduated from the Denver Institute in Dallas, Texas. He worked for Sesimagraph for 10 years, Pyote youth center and Pecos Juvenal youth center. He loved working on cars, detailing and putting in sound systems. He was a member of St. James Baptist Church at an early age until God called him home. He is proceeded in death by his father, Anthony Horton Jr., his sister, Lillian Ann Walker, and Grandparents. He leaves to mourn his wife Jacqueline E. Hill Horton, his daughter Jennifer, and three Grandchildren of Odessa, Texas, his mother Marjorie Horton of Pecos, one brother Willie Anthony, Horton of Houston, Texas. Three sisters, Hattie H. Gordon, Barstow, Texas, Emma H. Hutching of Houston, Texas, Betty L. Wilhams, of El Paso, Texas. His niece Francites D. Terry of Pecos, Texas, and a nephew Michael Horton of Houston, Texas, whom he raised. A very special motherinlaw Mrs. Bethy Hill of Seminole, Texas. Numerous nephews and neices. Jesse Carrasco of Pecos, Texas who was like a brother and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation is Friday evening at Pecos Funeral Home, and Service is Saturday November 09, 2013 at Pecos Funeral Home at 1pm with burial to follow at East side Cemetery
