Apolinar Abila

Paula Abila, 90, of Pecos passed away on Friday, May 9 in Pecos.

A rosary is scheduled for Tuesday at 7:30 pm at the Pecos Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with burial at the Barstow Cemetery.

Paula was born on February 8, 1924. She was a housewife, a Catholic and a Guadalupana.

Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Abila, 5 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors include one son, Robert Fatz Abila of Richmond, Tx, one daughter, Becky Silvas of Pecos, 3 grandchildren, Nancy Mariscal of Irving, TX, James Silvas of Twentynine Palms, CA, Jason Silvas of Pecos, 6 greatgrandchildren and 1 great greatgrandchild.

Pecos Funeral Home will be responsible for the arrangements.
