Anthony Marquis Natividad, 20, of Pecos, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in Motely County, Texas.

Visitation will be Monday, July 21, 2025, from 9AM- 9PM at Pecos Funeral Home. Rosary will be Monday, July 21, 2025, from 7PM-8PM, at Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held from 10AM, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Santa Rosa de Lima church, with Parochial Vicar Gabriel Terrones of West Texas Catholic Communities, officiating.

Burial for Anthony will follow at GreenWood Cemetery in Pecos, Texas

Anthony Marquis Natividad was born in Pecos, TX to Monica A. Garcia and Adrian Natividad on September 24, 2004. He was raised in Pecos, where he was baptized and confirmed through Santa Rosa de Lima church, ultimately participating in the recreation of The Stations of the Cross. He graduated from Pecos High School in May of 2023, excelling in sports, including being part of his travel baseball team and high school varsity basketball team, earning the title of team captain during his senior year. He later went on to earn his CDL certification, aiding in recent endeavors in a position with Peak Energy Solutions of comprehensive powerline electrical services and repairs.

Anthony always enjoyed time with his family and closest friends, music and sports; his favorite teams being the Texas Rangers, Golden State and the Dallas Cowboys. He was witty, humorous, charismatic and his heart was purely benevolent. All could contest, joyous times were always a treat as you were captivated by the illumination of his smile.

Anthony is preceded in death by his great-grandmother Maria N. Garcia, great-aunt Rosa Maria G. Pena, Uncle Joe Valencia, great-great aunt Leonor Hernandez, cousin Joseph A. Garcia and Silverio Pena.

Anthony is survived by his brothers Sebero A. Jaquez IV and Alexander J. Jaquez; sisters Abeni M. Jaquez, Adrie Natividad and Audrenna Natividad; parents Monica A. Garcia & Max Garza and Adrian Natividad; grandparents Alonzo Garcia Sr. & Denise Sanchez and Marcos & Mary Jane Natividad; uncle & godfather Alonzo Garcia Jr. and uncle Jorge Natividad Sr.; along with an abundance of great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Honorary Pallbearers: Abeni M. Jaquez and Alexander J. Jaquez.

Pallbearers: Sebero A. Jaquez IV, Jayden Garza, Nathan Garza, Jon Edward Lujan, Chris Little, Jonathan Contreras, Lanier Sadler, Jermey Perllo, Paul Esparza and Jorge M. Natividad Jr.
