Anita Nunez

Anita Gonzales Nuñez, 76, Of Pecos, passed away on March 28, 2017 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX after a lengthy Illness.

Anita was a life long Catholic and her Rosary will be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Thursday March 30, at 7:30 pm in Pecos TX. Funeral services will held on Friday March 31, at 10 am in Santa Rosa Catholic Church with burial following at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos. Pecos Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Anita was born in Balmorhea, TX to Alberto And Florintina Gonzales on Nov 16, 1940. She attended school in both Balmorhea and Pecos where she received her Diploma. She was married on June 2, 1959 to Ramon Ortega Nuñez. Anita worked several years as an L.V.N. under Dr. Bruce Hay and book keeping department for the Duval/Pennzoil Corp.
Anita is preceded in death by her husband Ramon O. Nuñez, parents
Alberto and Florintina Gonzales and siblings Teresa And Eduardo Gonzales.
Anita is survived by her sons Mario and Rosa Nuñez of Monahans & Omar and Yessica Nuñez of Monahans along with five grandchildren, Hector Contreras, Jamie Nuñez, Adrian Nuñez, Marissa Nuñez and Marc Flores, and eight great grandchildren who were the apples of her eyes.
