Albina Alaniz Lara was born in Presidio, Texas, to Refugio & Maria Alaniz on March 1, 1934. She married Ysmael Lara in 1955 and was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ysmael Lara, Sisters, Marcaria Huertas, Maria Felix (Fela ) Reyes, Carmen Dominguez, Brothers, Guillermo Alaniz, Rodolfo Alaniz, & Manuel Alaniz.
She is survived by daughter Yolanda and husband Israel Rubio. Daughter Lucy and husband Manuel Gonzales. Sister Prisciliana Rede. Grandchildren, Senovia and Austin Rubio and Lomas and Lara Gonzales.
Pallbearers will be Senovia and Austin Rubio and Lomas and Lara Gonzales, and Honorary Pallbearers are Butch Dominguez and Sebastian Aguilar.
Visitation will be held a Pecos Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 10:30 am to 9 pm, with Rosary at 7 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at Santa Rosa Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 10 am, Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family of Albina Lara wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Reeves Regional Health, special thanks to Janet Bradley, Angie Fierro, Fatu Darpolor, Dr. Serrano, Dr. Del Torro, Dr. McIntire, & hospice staff.
