Almarine Rackley Cotten passed away on April 11, 2019 in Pecos Texas.
She was born on Nov. 9, 1943 in Brownwood Texas to Ulmer Jordan Rackley and Ellen Elizabeth Harris.
She attended Hardin-Simmons University and Tarleton State University After graduating with a masters degree she went on to be a teacher at Culberson ISD in Van Horn where she was an ESL Teacher for 1st through 8Th Grades, Mexia ISD she was a High school English teacher, and Palacios ISD she was a reading teacher for grades 7th and 8th grades.
She was also a missionary for the South Pacific Baptist Association in Samoa for 19 yrs.
She enjoyed reading and playing the Piano and Keyboard and crocheting, embroidery and counted cross stitch.
She is survived by her sister Mary Akins; Two grandsons; John and Zhary Anthony and Four; Great-grandkids: Dallas, Jacob, Faumui, Matrix Boutwell.
Memorial Service will be held on May 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at West Park Baptist Church with Rev Rey Carreon Officiating
Services are under the Direction of Pecos Funeral Home.
