Adelaida Jurado

Adelaida O. Jurado ,76 of Pecos was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on Jan 1, 2019 at Madison Medical Resort in Odessa, Texas.
Adelaida was born in Shafter, Texas to the late Thomas and Paula Ornelas on March 22, 1942. She married the love of her life Hector Elpidio Jurado on April 17, 1964. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church in Pecos.
Visitation will be held on Sunday Jan. 6, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. and on Monday Jan. 7, 2019 from 9:00 Am to 9:00 PM
Rosary will be held on Monday Jan. 7, 2019 at 7:30 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass will be held on Tuesday Jan 8, 2019 at 10:00 Am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents Tomas and Paula Ornelas; a brother, Manuel "Mocho" Ornelas; a sister, Maria Ocon, and granddaughter, Annabelle Ramirez.
Adelaida is survived by her husband of 55 years Hector E. Jurado; daughters, Socorro Ramirez and husband Tony of Barstow, Josie Nunez and husband Joe Ray of Pecos; Rebecca Villarreal and husband Danny of Pecos; Elizabeth Rayos and husband Carlos; Jessica Jurado of Pecos; sons, Hector Jurado. Jr of Pecos; Jaime Jurado and wife Karime of Pecos; Sisters, Estella Olivas and husband Chon of Houston; Virginia Edwards and husband Billy of Pecos; brother, Thomas Ornelas and wife Chela of Odessa. Also surviving are 17 Grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
