Isreal “Indio” Munoz Hernandez, 60 of Pecos passed away on October 7, 2018 in Pecos.
Indio was born in Pecos to Jesus M. Hernandez and the late Angela Munoz Hernandez on December 31, 1957. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed hanging around with Junja Jams “Road Dog”. He loved music and dancing and always held a special place for Jesus in his heart.
A prayer service and visitation will be on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 6 pm to 9 pm. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 1 p.m at the Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Greenwood cemetery.
Isreal is survived by his partner Carmela Ornelas; his sisters – Sylvia Herod of Odessa, Norina Rodriguez of Pecos, Diana Salas of Pecos, Esmeralda Hernandez of Presidio; his brothers – Jesus Hernandez, Jr of Odessa and Joel Hernandez of Fort Stockton. Isreal is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Services are under the direction of Pecos Funeral Home.
