It is sad that we don’t really remember and reflect on what someone means to us until they pass. I am now flooded with these memories. Tio Jose Louis helped me when I was young and scared. He protected me whenever I needed it and always called me, ‘mijo’. He was a hero to me because of who he was and I was proud to tell people he was my uncle. The last time I saw my beloved Tio, he had summoned the strength to come and sing at our Mom’s funeral and I Hope now that they find each other in heaven and smile that same smile they shared. His last fight is over and he can now Rest In Peace. God Bless and keep you near, Tio. Strength to all of us left behind that will miss you. Love, Danny
