Armando Cortez 77, of Pecos passed away Tuesday April 16, 2019 at his residence.
He was born July 17, 1941 in Marfa, Texas to Manuel Quintana Cortez and Marcela Hernandez. He was a retired computer tech for the Pennzoil Sulphur Plant and a Christian catholic. He united in marriage July 17, 1962 to Eloisa Alvarez in Pecos, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son LeRoy Cortez and great granddaughter Amyah Pantoja, 1-sister and 1 brother.
Armando is survived by his wife Eloisa Cortez of Pecos, Tx. Daughters Sandra Cortez of Pecos, Tx and Irma Cortez of Odessa, Tx. Son Roger Cortez of Round Rock, Tx. 1 sister and 2 brothers.
Mr. Cortez also leaves to cherish his memories 5 grandchildren Daniel Lozano of Odessa, TX, Sarah Lozano of Odessa, Tx Aimee Lozano of Midland, Tx, Mikey Lozano of Fayetteville, AR, and Selena Pantoja of Pecos, Tx. 6 great grandchildren Amaris Pantoja of Pecos, Tx, Ivan Guebara, Kaitlyn Vasquez, Aadrik Fuentes, Aubri Harris and Aaralin Fuentes all of Odessa, Tx. and Great-Great Grandson Ethan Guebara of Odessa, Tx.
Visitation is set for Saturday April 20, 2019 from 1pm-5pm at Pecos Funeral Home.
Sunday April 21, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday April 22, 2019 from 9am-9pm with a rosary at 7:30 pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass has been set for 10 Am Tuesday April 23, 2019 at Santa Rosa Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen cemetery.
Service are under the direction of Pecos Funeral Home
Pallbearers will be Danny Lozano, Mikey Lozano, Aadrik Fuentes, Ivan Guebara, Richard Ornelas, Timmy Moren, Eric Valencia, and Luis Ontiveros.
